Celebrate the fall harvest with a collectible kitchen-to-table cocotte in the natural shape of a pumpkin. Cast iron’s unparalleled ability to retain heat makes this piece a great choice for slow-cooking the season's signature soups, stews, pot roasts and braises. As practical as it is beautiful, the cocotte features Staub’s innovative enamel coating for superior performance, style and durability.
- Sculptural base and lid replicate pumpkin shape, complete with "stem" handle crafted of solid brass.
- Glossy multicoat enameling ensures strength and heat resistance—and creates a vibrantly colored "majolique" finish.
- Enamel coating resists rust, chipping and cracking and requires no additional seasoning.
- Black matte interior enamel contains traces of quartz to provide additional heat resistance and a textured surface that improves browning.
- Made in France.
Dimensions
- 12" diam.; 7" high.
- 3 1/2-qt. cap.
- 11 lb. 13 oz. with lid.

Staub traces its origin to the Alsace region of France, where founder Francis Staub designed his first enameled pot while working in an old French artillery factory in 1974. With the goal of creating the perfect pot for cooking the region’s traditional hearty soups, stews and braises, he combined cast iron, the most popular material of the time, with the latest enameling technology available. Today, Staub still makes its cookware at a traditional atelier in France, casting each pot in an individual sand mold, which is heated to 800°F and destroyed after use. The exterior enamel coating is made with glass powder and mineral pigments, applied in two or three coats to generate brilliant glossy colors.

EXCLUSIVE! Former RHONJ Star Kim G Calls BS On Danielle Staub's Yankee Player Fiancé!
As we reported, we EXCLUSIVELY told you Danielle Staub is being sued for bailing on ex-fiancé Joe Masalta's charity event and pocketing the advance.
Reportedly, Miz Staub has been officially served, and is set to appear in court.

EXCLUSIVE! RHONJ Star Danielle Staub Sued For Allegedly Ditching Charity Event & Pocketing The Money!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star's ex-fiancé Joe Masalta is suing the reality TV personality for allegedly bailing on a charity event and pocketing her advance.
Even though Masalta paid her $25K, he is asking for $15K as the charity — known simply as "Veterans Continued Service, 501 c 3" — cannot afford attorney fees.
"Danielle breached the oral event appearance contract. I paid Danielle the 25k as an advance payment because she was being evicted. I'm suing for 15k so because suing for anything more requires an attorney and the charity can't afford to pay those fees as there is significant loss already."
A GoFundMe page has been set up to recoup the missing funds.

Did you know that Rusty Staub was the first Expos player ever sent to an All-Star Game (1969 All-Star Game), the first sent to two (1969 & 1970 All-Star Game / so the first consecutive appearances as well), the first to actually play in a Midsummer Classic (1970 All-Star Game), and the first sent to three (1969, 1970, & 1971 All-Star Game / the first back-to-back-to-back appearances)?

Do you know who their first righty recipient was? [Answer]
Did you know that Ty Cobb, Gary Sheffield and Rusty Staub are the only players to hit a home run as a teenager and after turning forty? Did you notice, when looking at Staub's stats, that he had at least home run in all 23 years he played, third most behind Rickey Henderson (25 seasons) and Ty Cobb (24 seasons)?

'I wanted to name him Daniel so I could call him Danny for short,' said his mother. 'But one of the nurses nicknamed him Rusty for the red fuzz he had all over his head, and it stuck.'

Real Housewives of New Jersey Alum Danielle Staub Engaged: “I Am Finally Happy”
Love her or hate her, Danielle Staub is getting married! The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star is engaged to her boyfriend, Joe Masalta. The controversial reality star recently changed her Facebook status from “single” to “engaged.”
"I am overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," Staub tells Us Weekly exclusively. "Joseph has helped me recognize the important things in life. As I embark on this new journey in the spirit of love and forgiveness, I'd like to apologize for mistakes I've made in the past. I feel like a big weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, and I am finally happy."
According to multiple reports, Masalta is a Navy SEAL Special Warfare and intelligence expert.
Staub, who is mom to two daughters from a previous relationship, caused quite the drama during her two seasons on the Bravo reality show prior to her August 2010 exit. As fans are well aware, Staub, 53, was on the receiving end of Teresa Giudice’s infamous table flip after the two got into a heated altercation about Staub’s alleged past as a prostitute.
After leaving the show — but not before getting her extensions pulled out by Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashley during an unforgettable TV moment — Staub told Us at the time that she didn't "see any interest for [her] to be attacked like that."
"Life is fantastic!" she concluded of life after RHONJ.
